How do I pay my rent and when is it due?
The rent can be paid by cheque or cash to our office or by standing order. We regret that we cannot accept debit or credit cards at this time. The rent falls due to be paid monthly in advance from the date of entry.

What is the deposit and why is it paid?
The deposit is taken as security in respect of any damages or unpaid charges due in respect of the tenancy. When the property has been vacated and inspected the deposit will be refunded and if there are any damages or charges due, these will be applied against the deposit.
Please note the deposit does not act as the final months rent due.

What is your Lease and how long is it for?
The lease is a legal contract Short Assured Tenancy Agreement under the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 and will be offered for a minimum of six month to a maximum of twelve month tenancy at one time.
Please note that some properties will be offered on a 12 month tenancy agreement only.

Is there an administration fee to be paid?
An administration fee of £25.00 id due to be paid on every tenancy in respect of taking up references & processing the applications.

What is an HMO property?
Where the property offered for let is for three or more unrelated persons sharing there will be a HMO license or the landlord will have applied for the HMO License to comply with current legislation. The HMO regulations have been introduced to give non related persons sharing minimum standards of quality accommodation and safety measures, such as the introduction of a mains fire alarm in each HMO property.
